Jesus Christ, CAN ANYBODY HAVE AN OPINION WITHOUT GETTING FUCKING BULLIED ONLINE!!! Shit, there’s always something stupid happening in the Star Wars fandom that gets blown way out of proportion, such as opinions about the Sequel Trilogy. Let me explain…..
Earlier today on Twitter, I noticed that the user, Star Wars Theory (SWT), was trending because he was being harassed by a multitude of users for his tweet regarding the Sequel Trilogy and the current Star Wars fanbase that defends everything Disney Star Wars creates (Sequel Trilogy included). Look at his tweet here:

Unfortunatley, I couldn’t find what SWT’s tweet was responding to, but I would suspect that it had something to do with the recent situation involving a cancel attack on a user for tweeting “Don’t make Star Wars poltical” in response to the offical Star Wars Twitter presenting a new issue of Star Wars Bounty Hunters for Pride month, which had a queer couple on the cover. Twitter user @Dataracer117 was able to document the hate through this set of images. Check this out:
The original tweet seemed pretty harmless at first, and normally I would defend someone saying something harmless, but this isn’t the case. I believe the person who made the first tweet might be a bot account because at the user only followed 2 accounts and had no followers at the time the relpy was first made. The user has not made any stand-alone tweets, just replies to other people in the same Star Wars thread (a little suspicious). I have reason to be believe that the account was controlled by a Disney employee to rile up the Twitter Puritans to validate the creative direction Star Wars is going in, very similar to when Star Wars tried to gaslight the media by calling their audience racist if they hate on Reva from Kenobi. I will admit that every fandom does have it’s share of racist/homophobic assholes, but the issue rises when the corpo giants start to support the bullying tactics of the Puritians because they think it’s going to make them more money.
The only reason I bring up that previous situation is because it’s happening again with Star Wars Theory. SWT is being called out as a racist and homophobe just because he called the Sequel Lovers (or as I call them, Sequel Simps) toxic people, which they ironically proved his by bullying him and calling him a racist/homophone. What’s even MORE ironic is that he made a video response to the Reva hate, defending Moses Ingram saying that the fans should leave the actress alone and just keep the hate on the CHARACTER. SWT has been an advocate for trying to keep the Star Wars fandom a civilized place for fans to discuss content with each other. His tweet was directed at the Disney Star Wars fans, and I stand with him. He did nothing wrong, and the hate he’s getting is utter bullshit. I’m happy that myself and other Star Wars fans are defending him, one of them being the popular Youtuber ThatStarWarsGirl who posted her take in her recent video:
You can find more tweets giving hate and support to SWT by searching up Star Wars Theory on Twitter, and most of these tweets are hilarious and pathetic. You can also look me up at @Legendpool616 to see some of my tweets against Disney Star Wars for allowing their fan-mob to bully anyone who has a different opinion about the new content.
This brave new world is so bizarre. The Puritans can’t let anyone have fun anymore, and it makes me wonder how they enjoy themselves if they get “triggered” by everything. It’s bizarre and sad that something I loved as a kid is being turned into a symbol for virtue signaling. This might escalate with the finale for Kenobi dropping tomorrow, so who knows what that’s going to bring to social media.
Anyway that’s all I have for you today, thank you for reading. Be sure to click that like button at the bottom and leave a comment telling me your thoughts on this mess. This is your common sense Star Wars fan saying goodbye, and see you next time.
