Tis the season to be jolly, am I right pals? Apparently not! I was seeing a lot of media hate coming at this new adult cartoon on HBO MAX called “Santa INC.”, starring Seth Rogen and Sarah Silverman. All I’ve been seeing is negative reviews of this show on Twitter and Rotten Tomatoes, and I’m sitting there wondering if this show really is as bad as people are claiming it to be, so I said “fuck it” and started watching the show. I’ve just watched the first two episodes, and I can already see why the show is getting so much hate.
This gist of the show is that there’s an elf, Candy Smalls, who has dreams of becoming the first woman Santa Claus, and her dream becomes obtainable when Santa’s original successor abruptly quits to work for Amazon. Since I haven’t finished watching the show, I can only assume that the rest of the season is about Candy trying to prove to Santa and to the North Pole board of directors that she has the skills to become the new Santa, but the way this is being executed is fucking stupid.
This show is clearly trying to enforce an agenda about hating Christianity, white people, men, and America. Even in the first episode, Candy makes a joke saying to Santa that more kids in America believe in Santa then they do the vaccine and the Holocaust. Later in the same episode we get this speech that tries to be inspirational with the topic of how the title/role of Santa is a white man’s game, and later we are introduced to Santa’s inner circle of friends who all act like a bunch of frat guys! A “Boys Club” if I were to give it a different description. Also for some strange reason all the reindeers in this show are black stereotypes.
“Santa INC.” is s show that tried to be poltical, but since it relies too much on “America is bad”, “All white people are bad”, “Christianity is dumb” jokes, it gives the show pure hate mongering vibes. Also the idea of checking Santa’s white privilege is a total dick move on Seth’s and Sarah’s part. Christmas is about family and unity amongst friends to celebrate the jolly times, it’s not about this woke Puritan crap. Yeah we already get American society sucks, but we don’t need a Christmas special about it!
This whole thing gets even worse when you go on Twitter and see this:
So apprently since I hate the show, I’m a white supremacist? What kind of fucking logic is that, Seth?! Are you seriously blaming nazis and other white supremacists for your show sucking, and you how can you call all your viewers racist if they don’t like your dumpster fire of a show?
I miss when filmmakers would blame themselves if people didn’t like their movies or tv shows, but now having filmmakers blame the viewers is so pathetic! Literally nobody likes this show, just look at this score:
A 4% SCORE!!!! Not even the Twitter Puritans like this show, and I think that was Seth’s target audience. It’s a real shame because I like Seth Rogen movies like “The Green Hornet”, “Zack and Miri Make a Porno”, “This is the End”, “The Interview”, “Superbad”, and “Good Boys”. I remember when Seth Rogen used to be funny, but now he’s devolved into a cringy Puritan, and the same can be said for Sarah Silverman. How HBO gave a green light for this show to be made is unfathomable.

To everyone who subscribes to HBO Max, I would advise you to not watch “Santa INC.” anytime soon. There are much better Christmas movie options available to watch on MAX, like “A Christmas Story”, “Elf”, “The Polar Express”, or that new movie “8-Bit Christmas”.
